A couple of months ago, my watch stopped. This was the third time we had replaced batteries in the last six months. My watch needed to be replaced, but I didn’t want to shell out the money. I said to my husband, “Maybe God is trying to tell me something. Maybe every time I look at my arm, I will be reminded to live in the moment.” I thought to myself, “It seems like I’m too efficient and time-driven; my life might go by without me actually being present in the moment. I want to stop and allow myself to rest and enjoy life.”
My husband replied, “Or maybe God is telling you to get a new watch.”
