Ancient Greece Unit Study: Hands-on Activities
- Clay Map of Greece: Blue tinted water around a white clay Greece-shaped blob.
- Greek Art for Kids: Black paper figures on orange paper.
- Ancient Greece Vase Cake: Bake a cake in the shape of a vase, and pipe Greek figures on it.
- Basket Weaving: Weave a basket. The bottom part is hard, but your kid can do the rest of it.
- How to Make an Ancient Greece Foil Mask: Scissors, foil, and markers are all you need for this craft.
- Greek Pottery: Tips for success with a toy pottery wheel.
- Mysterious Cracking Pots: Terra Cotta self-hardening clay stuck to a bottle.
- Ancient Greece Videos for Kids: The library videos we liked and didn’t like about Ancient Greece.
- Greek Feast: Dress up like a person from Ancient Greece and enjoy some food and music from that time period. Don’t forget to eat baklava for dessert.
